This past Thursday evening (10/14/21), Rabun Gap Nacoochee School held it’s first community “Meet and Greet” at the Rabun County Civic Center Diner. With the assistance of Forward Rabun, school employees participated in a Passport Program, designed to encourage them to meet local business operators. The event, which included school staff, participating faculty, local businesses’ personnel and Forward Rabun, came together to get to know each other better. Faculty who had completed their passports were eligible for prizes sponsored by the local businesses. Good food and lots of conversation were shared by all who attended. Events like this help bring our community together and foster a sense civic responsibility among all who participate. Forward Rabun was proud to be a part of this effort and hopes to continue working with local schools, businesses and other community organizations to further our mission of making Rabun County better through cooperative initiatives.
