Tallulah Gorge was recently named by 24/7 Wall St. as the most beautiful place in Georgia. According to the AJC, 24/7 Wall St. named locations in all 50 states as the “most beautiful natural wonder” of the respective state.
At approximately two miles long and nearly 1,000 feet deep, visitors to Tallulah Gorge can enjoy hiking the rim trails or paved paths and enjoy the scenic views, as well as obtain permits to hike the gorge floor on certain days or cross the suspension bridge 80 feet above the bottom of the gorge.
